Dr. Sam Rodriguez joined the Fresno State Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education faculty at California State University, Fresno, in 2022. Dr. Rodriguez earned his B.S. in Animal Science and M.S. in Agriculture Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He earned his Ed.D in Educational Leadership at Fresno State University. Dr. Rodriguez taught high school agriculture for 17 years and at Reedley/Madera Community College for six years. He is a CATA “Teacher of Excellence” and a recipient of the California FFA Honorary State Degree. Dr. Rodriguez supervises Agricultural Education student teachers and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in agriculture education, education, and human development.
