Journey 2050 is a free program that engages grades 6-12 in discussions about world food sustainability. Lesson topics include sustainability, soil, water, economy, land use, culture, careers, and technology in agriculture. The program features a virtual simulation game composed of a farming game, knowledge test and career avatar. This program is ideal for both in-person and virtual learning settings.

In 2022, it is reported that 22.1 million full- and part-time jobs were related to agriculture and food sectors – 10.4% of total U.S. employment (USDA, 2023).
