Teacher Leadership/State Leadership Development

Learn about SAE Mentors! This is a student-ran program to establish more SAE's in your chapter, improve the quality of student SAE's, and create accountability among each FFA member. Come learn about how this program can clear off your plate as an ag educator. Grant money, proficiency awards, and more time are surely in your future with SAE Mentors!

This workshop will share AET chapter tools to better connect with students through aligned efforts versus using other systems like Remind, Quizizz, Google Calendar, and other solutions that are just one more thing. We will cover critical tools in AET that offer efficiency/time-saving solutions, such as AET's Meeting Manager for students to develop agendas, take minutes, and keep attendance, which builds student records! Strategic Plan/POA to create mission-driven activities that develop a National Chapter Award, create a calendar, and record students' participation, which then grows their records…all in one step! Online exams in AET offer a solution to train CDE/LDE teams and keep students engaged. SAE assessments can help validate SAEs as WBL projects and build evaluation records to support your extended contract.

Bring your students to a sale barn auction inside your classroom! Whether the sale barn is in your town or an hour away, this lesson can help students think like a cattle feeder - using math to determine how to bid and when they should bid on cattle that are at the sale barn.

This workshop will teach you how to implement "The Agricultural Great Food Truck Race" project into your classroom, along with all instructional materials. This project teaches about ag as a global market and employability skills.
