About me
Khalifa Shareef is a Rancher- Agriculture Specialist, Entrepreneur, Educator and Civic Leader. Khalifa has been farming since 2014 and has experience in small ruminants, equine and poultry. A Graduate of Clemson University, Khalifa found his passion for positive youth development and agriculture outreach as a part of the Be A T.I.G.E.R program. As a STEAM advocate and environmental steward, Khalifa’s mission is to build sustainable food systems to educate and service communities. By way of Georgia, Khalifa resides in North Carolina with his wife and children, family pets Tru (French Bulldog ) and horses Cheerwine (Quarter/Walker) and Boosie (Tennessee Walker). In his leisure time when he is not farming or educating others on the importance of sustainable agriculture, Khalifa enjoys horsemanship, time in nature, hiking with family and enjoying international cuisine. Khalifa’s extension career began as an adult volunteer for FVSU Ag Extension 4-H where he was integral in establishing the 4-H Charter for Chattahoochee Hills Charter School a local Charter School within his home community. With a mission to build resilient food systems that educate and serve communities, Khalifa’s commitment to sustainable agriculture practices goes beyond the field. His work fosters growth, not only on the land but also within our communities, inspiring others to take action toward a healthier, more sustainable future.
