This workshop is presented by the Global Teach Ag Network. Food has a unique ability to bring people together across the world while also showcasing rich diversity across continents and cultures. Attendees will be some of the first to learn about GTANeats, a new complementary program from the Global Teach Ag Network (GTAN) that focuses on the connections between culinary science, nutrition, and cultural influence from around the world. Participants will have an opportunity to share how they currently interact with food-related topics in their classrooms and give input on what resources could best serve their students.
This workshop is part of the pathway on global learning in agriculture curated by GTAN for NAAE. These workshops are designed to complement one another, but each workshop in the pathway is a stand-alone session.
